Food was good, specials are worth looking into. Staff was friendly. It was a bit noisy. But all in all a good breakfast place

I enjoyed food. Little surprised menu was selective. Brought dad there for 89th birthday. Staff song happy birthday (awesome) with slice of cake. He was disappointed there was no straeberry cheese cake his favourite from Star View.

The waiters look dirty! Appearance is everything especially when serving food. The french toast was bitter, couldn't eat it. During the pandemic they should be serving with disposable utensils n they are not. First n last time here! Please help your waiters! They look over worked n dirty!

I never had a bad experience. Their food is always amazing. Even if I came back because they forget one item. The owner and staff made me feel like my needs are their first priority. I left loving them more. 😀❤ very family-oriented atmosphere.

What a nice local diner! Fast, friendly service. And SO.MANY.CAKES! Also, I'm not usually a home fries fan, but theirs is good and crispy. Yum! Will definitely be by again!

Starview Dinner is a place to go if you want something traditional to eat. To me It wasn't the best, however, the food portions were very hefty, though lacked presentation. In my opinion it wasn't the best quality of food either. The soup of the day, at that time, was lentil and chicken and what was suppose to be dumpling but seemed more like flour in milk with diced imitation chicken, which of course, both lacked flavor. On the other hand, my waiter was very pleasant and gave great suggestions of what best suited our taste. I believe this place has great potential and with a little more effort it can really be a 5 🌟!

Amazing place to dine. I brought my 1 year old son here with me and were treated very well. The service we received was excellent. Food came fast and was very reasonable.

Just what I needed! I was visiting New Jersey and wanted to get my scrapple fix. Google lead me to the Starview. The service was great, prices were reasonable, and the food was perfect. It is a classic south Jersey diner. I would absolutely go back.

Food was good Waitress was very bad. Went the whole meal with an empty cup, as well as my family. Waitress forgot my kids drinks until I reminded her 3 times. Reason for 4 stars was because food was good and waitress was bad. The manager should oversee or maybe walk around and ask everyone how everything is going like some other restaurants.

I was incredibly impressed by the quality of the food for the impressively low price. See my pics. I got a lunch special: stuffed salmon with homemade chicken noodle soup, mixed vegetables that were firm (not mushy), iced tea and tapioca pudding for $10.31.

I ordered via DoorDash, one of the items was wrongly ordered which is fine it happens.. but the coleslaw that came with the order was literally rancid. So i had called the restuarant to speak to the owner of the place. I tried explaining to him that the food was rancid and he yelled at me and hung up without so much as an apology. I don't have all of my hearing and couldn't hear at first he was yelling until my girlfriend pointed it out. Side note, when is french onion soup tomato based and literal grease? It's like they cooked the onions I'm burger grease and tossed provolone on top and called it a day... Professionally, this place is horrendous.

Our waitress was awesome. She completely served my entire 13 person party with attentive constant contact. She remained engaged. I believe get name is Kirsty.The food was great and inexpensive. THANK you for having us!

Service was mediocre, I've had better service here. The simple fried zucchini sticks were good until the breading fell off. The server gave no bread basket and served our soups with our appetizer (big pet peeve). Overall, just barely 3 stars and I've been in the food service industry for 30 years. Oh forgot to mention my fiance ordered a vodka and seltzer and they did an upcharge for top shelf when he did not ask for it.

Staff was nice and friendly. We were immediately helped when we walked in. We wanted to sit at the counter so she said it was first come first serve and we could seat ourselves there. Breakfast menu was short but had all the basics. Food came quickly after we ordered it.only complaint we had was our server went MIA when it was time to collect the check and pay. Another server noticed us, and that we were still waiting for the check and helped us. 4 out of 5 stars only because of the last part.

This is the best diner I've been to. What a really great place!I loved the building, which I called the Starview Palace.The lady that waited on us was AMAZING!! She was sweet as can be.Breakfast was delicious, and the diner was very clean.If you're in the area and hungry, I suggest you give them a try. I believe you will be glad you did.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Service was fast and friendly, however the food was just bad. My French toast was complete dough in the middle, with a very funky flavor. The home style potatoes were tasty, but the carrot cake I ordered was old and had moldy spots in it, which I only discover after eating some. Ugh. The interior looked and smelled very clean. Will not return.

I am a big fan of diner food. So when given the chance to visit a diner I haven't been too I jump at the chance. This is a great little diner. It has everything a diner should have. Atmosphere, location, great service, friendly employees and of course great food. There were the classic booths to sit in and plenty of parking. The menu had excellent options, it was very hard to choose. My meal was excellent. Stop in and give it a try. You will be pleasently surprised.

Went on a Saturday night for dinner. The diner was very quiet. Service was polite and did not rush us. Food was cooked perfectly and was on the table before we knew it. Portions were very large and too much for us to eat, but tasted wonderfully reheated the next day. I'll definitely be back when I want standard diner fare.

The food was solid.Good stick to your ribs food...served by a great waitress in a spacious room.Music not intrusive Parking easy.Prices very reasonable. We were told our dinners included desert. Who knew?Locals here have a diner to be proud of!Bu the way...I enjoyed my chop steak and the split pee soup was outstanding. Well done Starview! Well done!By the way...the photo that I took shows an empty plate. Why? Because everything on it is in my belly. No need for leftovers.

The food is so good and comes out very fast! The dessert is amazing! The prices are very reasonable and the staff is amazing! (Diana is our favorite server )

We go here just about every Sunday after church. Bernadette is fantastic but the owner not a friendly person and you would think he would be since we are his paying customers. If it was not for Bernadette we would probably go someplace...would be nice to have the host, the owner, be a little bit more friendly

The service was fantastic. I wish I were better at remembering names so I could tell you who our wonderful waitress was. She fantastic. Her recommendations were right on the spot. Each of enjoyed our meals. The cream of crab soup was delightful. I highly recommend it. Even my picky eater liked it. I couldnt get over the size of the portions. I had seafood fra diavolo. It wasn't the little frozen shrimp and tiny scallops with a few little mussels thrown in. These were jumbo shrimp and scallops with a lot of mussels and clams. It wasn't very expensive either.

We always stop here for a bite when we fly in to visit with family. Doesn’t matter how packed the lot is, there’s always a table available inside. The five of us had lunch and because they have a full bar (with very reasonable liquor prices) I ha a bourbon because, well, I’m on vacation and was not driving! Service is flat out perfect. In NJ, diner wait staffing is a profession and the team at Star View do it well. Our group had Philly Cheese Steaks, Pasta Alfredo with chicken, chicken tenders and nachos with chicken chunks. The sides are large and fresh including fries if that’s your selection. Will go back once more before we fly out.

One of the absolute best Diners in the area. The best Salmon Salad anywhere. The Cheescake is FANTASTIC!!

My first time everything was wonderful! I had stuffed flounder that was cooked to perfection. I was told about their spaghetti sauce and had a taste it is the best sauce/gravy I have ever tasted they need to sell it by the jar!!! Sorry food was so good I forgot to snap a picture. Will do on my next visit for sure.

If we don't cook on Thanksgiving, we get take out Thanksgiving dinner from Starview and it is always fantastic! They make their own pies. The lemon meringue is to die for!

The food is always delicious fresh and hot . . . Very clean atmosphere !

Survice was good if a bit overbearing. The food was terrible. "Baby shrimp salad" consisted of 6 while sized shrimp not even cut up with a microscopic amount of mayo and 3 metric tons of bitter, chopped celery. Bitter, sour, bland. Everything had a slightly off vinigar taste. I got an egg salad sandwich instead only to find that it too had no flavor or seasoning at all except for a slightly off vinegar flavor. Bacon was so old and hard I could have chipped a tooth and how on earth fo you take the flavor out of bacon? It tasteless!

Really great service and good food and an excellent price

The waitresses I've had have always been pleasant, I've only had breakfast and soup but no complaint here
